A few days ago I participated in the presentation of the new pop up store in Barcelona Designers Collective at La Roca Village. This is a new initiative of international fashion looking for new talent. Through an event that became known in the 13th edition of the 080 Barcelona Fashion, 9 designers have been selected to market their collections in a unique space located in La Roca Village. Colmillo de Morsa, Ssic and Paul, Pablo Erroz, Juanma by El Cuco and Rita Row in the textile category. BET and Prógrono in accessories, Irene Carrera in jewelry, and Mus & Roew in footwear.
Barcelona Designer Collective have a luxury ambassador, the designer Georgina Chapman, who has been responsible for opening the new pop up store. The event also featured a panel of luxe including Colin McDowell, designer, journalist, writer and fashion critic; Rosa Tous, Corporate Vice President of TOUS; Nuria Basi, Armand Basi President; model Veronica Blume; Rosa Esteva, creator and designer of Cortana; Nuria Mora, Director of Creative Content 080 Barcelona Fashion; Daniela Agnelli, Director of the Telegraph magazine; Kim Hersov, fashion editor and stylist, Carlos Santana, Director of Retail Value Retail in Spain.
Of the 9 finalists designers, the winner of the first edition of Barcelona Designer Collective is Pablo Erroz, who has won the prize for best collection autumn winter 2014/15. The young from Mallorca, 24 years, has been highlighted by his talent and creativity. His next collection features a unisex, timeless spirit in clean structural cuts where the fabric is the key piece of the garment. This is a 100% handmade work both production as pattern making, cutting and sewing; and also conceived the ethics of their designs as a healthy production process.
Barcelona Designers Collective, an opportunity not to miss.
