A few days ago I returned from a lovely holiday in Argentina. We went to Buenos Aires city and also to Patagonia, to Río Gallegos, my hometown. This city it is located well to the south of Argentina. As you know in my country distances are vast, so from one city to another takes about three hours by plane. From Buenos Aires to Rio Gallegos is 2,541 kilometers. Neither more nor less. But for the people who lives there is normal.
Thanks to the time of year, now there is winter, I have been able to take wonderful pictures that I want to share with you.
In Buenos Aires we stayed with our family in a house wonderful week-end. A super pool that we couldn’t use, but with a huge park where you can see the steps of the autumn. Ideal for taking thousands of photographs. Oh, and best is that we had a big place where we could organize events and where the protagonist is the barbecue. There we have delighted with some tasty roasted. If you go to Argentina, you can not leave without trying the typical barbecue. Delicious.
I also walked the streets of the city and reconnect with those traditional flavors of the city. What feelings cute! A coffee. My camera. And a little time to get lost in bookstores on Corrientes Street, in Buenos Aires. I must confess I had to do a little place in my suitcase to bring me some books.
In Buenos Aires there weren’t so cold, but in Patagonia were greeted by a white blanket of snow. The road from the airport to my parents’ house was a postcard. All streets were snow and us with camera in hand like foreign tourists. A few years ago I was not going in winter, so I was delighted to be there at this time of year. The city has other charm and you can enjoy otherwise. In the vastness of Patagonia, you can find sites that are real postcards. And in winter sunsets have a special glow. We were able to appreciate it as we walked along the estuary of Río Gallegos, and of course we stopped for taking pictures of the place.
These holidays we have enjoyed. Family events everywhere. Baptism and meeting friends. Beautiful moments that have made us very happy.
Here I leave a selection of pictures I have prepared of this beautiful journey and two of my favourites outfits: one by Odd Molly (Mistress coat white and red in cotton and t-shirt beige, lovely) and the other by The Wandering Collective (shirt, trousers and Modigliani shoes). Love it!
