A few days ago we traveled to Dublin. As we like to do on every trip, the best way to know the city is getting lost in its streets.
We stayed in a beautiful apartment on the outskirts of the city in Dalkey, about 30 minutes by train from central Dublin. A residential area of beautiful homes, full of green parks and flowers everywhere.
The first sensation to walk the streets of Dublin, was find a city with good energy. Nice people, friendly, stylish, many students, full of bars, which in turn were packed with people and a very festive spirit.
Our tour began at Trinity College, the oldest university in Ireland and one of the most famous in the world. Then we walked around the area of Temple Bar. Renowned for its namesake bar and many charming bars and live music. As for us was early to drink a Guinness, we decided to find a coffee to inspire us. And very close to there, we discovered Hippety’s. A place decorated like in story where well worth to make a break and enjoy some of the menu. We toured the downtown area, the side streets of Liffey river, bridges and enjoyed a spectacular sunset. Those who appreciate fine to the river bank. And at night, we returned to The Temple Bar to enjoy live music and a dark beer.
We could not leave the city without trying the typical brunch. So on Sunday, we get carried away by a very tempting proposition in The Woollen Mills. In addition to its extensive and delicious menu, the place is very inspiring, has different spaces and attention is fantastic.
In the afternoon, we walked George’s Street Arcade, a large market with many shops. And as we walked through the neighborhood, we discovered The Garden. A stylish flower shop. The wonderful aroma invaded us as soon as we stepped inside. In addition to flowers, you can find different stylish gardening accessories. The flower shop is in the same building as the Castle Market. A big space with restaurant, coffee, bars and charming shops. Undoubtedly, a place to let go. Ideal for travel and pause with a good book.
We love home and lifestyle stores. And we could not resist the temptation to visit Indrustry. A shop where you can find original designs to decorate your home. You can be sure that everything you find there has style and you will wish to buy everything. And if you fancy, you can try in the coffee shop some of the delicious proposals they prepared.
Here is one of the looks I’m wearing in the video. The blazer and the shirt are from Babochka. It is a shop in Barcelona with tailoring where you can find clothing, accessories, furniture and decorative items recycled and specially selected. Worth knowing this shop, you will surely find something you like.
Undoubtedly, Dublin surprised us. We loved it and the sun shined two days for us.
