Buenos Aires had the fashion week where, through BAFWeek and Designers BA, the designers showed their upcoming SS18 collections.
At the 12th edition of Desginers BA, Omar Valladolid, one of the talents of Peru, presented “Lima”, in honor of the phrase “Lima, the grey“. Characterized by always using black, and with a palette of dark colors, he presented designs that combine the folkloric customs of the city with urban development and modernity.
Once again Jessica Trosman surprised us with a staging at the Atlanta club. There the catwalk transformed into a large mirror where the designs of his “Technicolor” collection were reflected. A collection inspired by sunsets and sunrises. Oversized garments, dresses, trousers and XL shirts. A colorful collection that also brought us light tones and radiant white.
And finally, Fabián Zitta, chose the garden of the Embassy of Spain. There he presented a collection inspired by the Spanish architect, “Calatrava” in which the fabrics danced with the movement of the models. A palette of colors in neutral tones like white, nude, grey and black showed geometric figures and garments with volumes.
I invite you to see a small summary of each one of them. Press play and enjoy.
